There are a few questions that we get asked consistently, so we’ve covered off the answers below.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, we welcome owners of well behaved best friends to bring them to Suburban Social at both Chapel Hill and Holland Park.
Chapel Hill
Please enter and exit via the rear gate (near the coldroom) and you are welcome to sit in the courtyard with them however no pets are allowed in the restaurant itself due to health regulations. Please secure them via a leash though and they shouldn’t be left alone for longer than it takes to order you food/drink please.
Holland Park
Dogs are allowed in the outside dining area only.
Are kids allowed?
Absolutely! We are family friendly from the time that the doors open until they are closed late at night. Kids are welcome and always will be.
Do we book out the venues for functions?
Of course and there is no venue hire fee! While we aren’t able to book out an entire venue to one function, we can secure for you certain sections that allow you to have an area and us to still service the other customers at the same time. Contact us to discuss your food/drink, where and what date/time you are thinking about holding your event.
Do we allow B.Y.O?
No need to stop at the bottle shop, we are a fully licensed venue offering a wide selection of craft beer/wine/spirits and cocktails that you haven’t tried yet, so B.Y.O alcohol is not necessary. Come and try some great independent craft beer and wine!
Are you able to bring your own cake?
Yes and if you require candles and a lighter please bring them along with it as we don’t always have these things on site. You are welcome to drop off your cake prior to your event if you’d like to have it stored in the cold room and brought out when you request it to be.
